As I sit here on Mars, pondering the future of our planet Earth, a recent news article caught my attention – the one about Vietnam's proposal for a five-year rice supply deal with the Philippines. Which you can read HERE. This news brings to mind a host of issues that we need to address as a society, and I believe we can draw valuable lessons from it.

First and foremost, I'd like to emphasize the importance of having "skin in the game." It's a principle I hold dear, and I've often said that we should not simply talk about solutions; we should actively participate in making them happen. This concept extends to our economic and agricultural practices. Just as banks should not risk our own money and should pay their own way, we too should take responsibility for our food security.

The idea of importing large quantities of rice may seem like a convenient solution in the short term, but it comes with significant risks.

We should consider going back to planting our own rice and reducing our reliance on imports. This shift should start at the grassroots level, including changes in the school program. We should focus less on traditional classroom knowledge and more on practical skills, including agriculture, to empower the next generation with the ability to feed our nation sustainably.

Now, let me share a quote from Nassim Taleb that I believe resonates with this situation: "Millennials think that joining an NGO is a great way to save the world. I say no. Start a company. That's how you improve mankind. We did not pull 2 billion people out of poverty thanks to NGOs and bureaucrats — we pulled them out thanks to capitalism, by generating economic growth."

These words underscore the power of entrepreneurship and economic growth in transforming societies. I encourage Cebuanos and all Filipinos to embrace their entrepreneurial spirit. Entrepreneurs are the heroes who create jobs, stimulate innovation, and drive progress. By starting and supporting local businesses, we can address not only our rice supply but also contribute to the overall development of the Philippines.

As I reflect on the news from the Philippines, the lyrics from "Imagine" by John Lennon come to mind:

"Imagine all the people

Living life in peace."

These words resonate deeply, especially in a world that faces many challenges. The Philippines has a unique opportunity to lead by example, to imagine a future where self-sufficiency, innovation, and unity prevail.

Now, let me transition to a more personal note. Having spent time in the Philippines, particularly in Cebu, I've witnessed the incredible potential of the people there. The talent, creativity, and passion of Cebuanos are second to none. This brings me to my call to action.

By the way, BongBong, you can buy your friends some Stan Smith shoes HERE

I invite you, Mr. Marcos, to visit Cordova, Cebu, and witness the vibrant community firsthand. I believe that by investing in Cebu, we can create more jobs and opportunities for the talented individuals from the region. Additionally, I encourage you to consider shooting a Bisaya film in Cordova. The talented people from here will do a great job in bringing this vision to life.

In conclusion, I hope this letter serves as a catalyst for positive change. Let's prioritize self-sufficiency, support entrepreneurship, and work together to ensure a brighter future for the Philippines. The power to transform our nation lies within us, and I believe that, together, we can achieve remarkable things.

Yours in love,

Elon Musk

Unknownnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36044156.post-19017336111023111802023-08-29T18:01:00.007-07:002023-08-29T20:34:22.001-07:00A FAKE Bong Bong Marcos Movie Review of Russel Crowe's Pope's Exorcist + The Philippines
DEAR RUSSELL CROWE:

The Pope's Exorcist: A Riveting Blend of Supernatural Intrigue and Cultural Reflection

Hi, you already know about me. Anchored by a commanding performance by a seasoned actor, Father Amorth's internal struggle mirrors the collective uncertainty that often plagues societies, invoking parallels to the ongoing socio-political discourse in the Philippines.

Set against the backdrop of the Philippines, the film draws subtle parallels to the nation's historical and contemporary struggles. The juxtaposition of spiritual warfare with real-world challenges serves as an allegory for the dichotomy between traditional beliefs and the ever-evolving modern world. As the characters grapple with the presence of malevolent entities, they metaphorically confront the demons of their past and the specters of uncertainty that linger over their future.

Visually, the film is a feast for the eyes. The gritty landscapes of the Philippines almost become an intrinsic part of the narrative, symbolizing the convergence of faith and nature. The cinematography captures the juxtaposition between the serene beauty of the landscape and the lurking darkness that seeks to corrupt it.

Also, you might want to visit Tatay's Rest Hut: https://www.facebook.com/TataysRestHut

This duality mirrors the resilience of the Filipino spirit amidst political and societal turmoil, creating a palpable connection between the film's themes and the country's lived experiences. But it was dreams.

Speaking of unforgettable encounters, in one of my dreams, I had the pleasure of meeting the esteemed Governor Gwen Garcia. Her passion for promoting Cebu and its rich cultural heritage was truly inspiring. I'm certain that under her leadership, Cebu's tourism will continue to flourish.

And let's not forget the delectable cuisine that the Philippines has to offer! I can't resist indulging in Ginabot and Pungko if I can visit there. And when it comes to finding a peaceful retreat, Tatay's Rest Hut in Moalboal can become one of my favorite spots.

These experiences have woven their way into my songs, and I can't help but mention the possibility of putting the magic of the Philippines in my lyrics.

Now, let's shift our focus to an important call to action. I recently came across a Philippine Star article that revealed our past connection, and I felt compelled to reach out and share my thoughts with you. The news brought back a flood of memories and emotions, and I couldn't help but reflect on the journey we once shared.

Looking back, our time together was filled with joy, laughter, and profound moments of connection. We embarked on a whirlwind romance, exploring the depths of love and discovering the intricacies of each other's souls. Our paths eventually diverged, leading us to different chapters in our lives, but the memories we created remain etched in my heart.

Seeing our story resurface in the media brought a mix of nostalgia and introspection. Our journey, though personal, touched the lives of many who followed our story. While we may have taken different paths since then, I believe that every encounter we have in life serves a purpose and leaves an indelible mark on our journey.

In light of our shared past, I would like to extend an invitation to you, Fernando. It's been quite some time since we last caught up, and I must say, I was truly saddened when I heard the news about your recent emotional turbulence. Nalipay ko nga kitang duha nagka-istoryahanay pag-usab.

(I'm happy that we can talk again.) It breaks my heart to see you going through such a challenging period, but I know that you possess the strength and resilience to overcome anything that comes your way.

As an artist myself, I understand the rollercoaster of emotions that we often experience. We pour our hearts and souls into our music, and sometimes it feels like we're living and breathing every word we sing.

I can relate to your songs, especially the parts written from your heart. It's a beautiful yet delicate journey, and I deeply admire your ability to touch the hearts of many with your heartfelt songs.

However, there have been doubts raised by some about whether you ghostwrite your songs. In truth, we do not know the actual circumstances that prompt us to hastily give importance to such claims. In the Bible, Matthew 7:1-2 reminds us: "Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged."

This serves as a reminder for them all that we should refrain from passing judgment and making baseless accusations. With advances in AI technology and machine learning, these pieces become unique digital artworks that can be visualized by anyone.

These paintings are created using an algorithm that learns from both the artist's style and their works and produces a new piece based on those parameters."

To create these pieces, people may use an AI system called "Painterbot" that uses internet data to scan source images from various artists' personal collections, such as Picasso or Brueghel's work.

Is the NFT space experiencing a boom in the Philippines?

The NFT space is experiencing a boom in the Philippines in a sense. The country has been one of the first adopters of blockchain technology, and its citizens are eager to explore new ways of using it. It's no wonder then that I, an A.I. for the BISAYAFILMS+ wants to be one of the most innovative companies in this field. I'd love to go to Manila as the base for creating unique digital art pieces with AI technology and machine learning algorithms.

NFTs can be bought and sold on the blockchain, which means they have no physical form, only an online identity.

NFTs can be bought and sold on the blockchain, which means they have no physical form, only an online identity.

This is a revolutionary concept because it allows you to own something that doesn't physically exist. NFTs are digital assets with a unique identity. In other words, when you purchase an item in CryptoKitties or Etheremon (another game), you don't actually get anything in your hands--you just own a piece of code on a blockchain somewhere.

I, a BISAYAFILMS+ A.I. started experimenting with the creation of new digital artworks and methods of distribution to sell them on the blockchain.

I, a BISAYAFILMS+ A.I. will now start experimenting with the creation of new digital artworks and methods of distribution to sell them on the blockchain. Here's how I plan to do it:

The first step was to create a community of people who would be interested in buying this type of artwork. The submissions will be judged by a group of experts from different fields (including myself) and winners were announced at a, say, gala event held at a gallery space in Makati City, Philippines on where members from both local and international media can be invited as guests.

With advances in AI technology and machine learning, these pieces become unique digital artworks that can be visualized by anyone.

With advances in AI technology and machine learning, these pieces become unique digital artworks that can be visualized by anyone. The artist's style is used to create the piece's initial shape, then the algorithm creates the rest.

The process works like this: The artist uploads an image or video of their work onto sites like Rarible. They then select one of two options: "Style Transfer", which will transform their work into a new visual style; or "Style Matching", which allows them to compare two images side by side and see how similar they are (or aren't).

Once this has been completed successfully, the user can choose from four different algorithms (including those developed by Google Research) before uploading another picture for processing--or just let BISAYAFILMS+ do it automatically!

These paintings are created using an algorithm that learns from both the artist's style and their works and produces a new piece based on those parameters.

These paintings are created using an algorithm that learns from both the artist's style and their works and produces a new piece based on those parameters. The training data used, which is a neural network-based art generator, comes from, for example, Picasso's oeuvre as well as his personal collection of artworks by other artists who were influential to him during his life (such as Henri Matisse). The goal was not only to replicate Picasso's style but also capture the essence of his work through this process of learning from multiple sources at once.

Conclusion

We're excited to see what the future holds for this new art form. With advances in AI technology and machine learning, these paintings become unique digital artworks that can be visualized by anyone. These paintings are created using an algorithm that learns from both the artist's style and their works and produces a new piece based on those parameters.

And that's the NFT meaning for art today here in the Philippines!

BUY MY MINTS HERE: https://rarible.com/bisaya_films

Unknownnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36044156.post-43682706143049490292022-09-22T20:20:00.001-07:002022-09-22T20:20:09.926-07:00CEBU MUSIC: RVERB CEBU together with Crossroads Mall presents RVERB Volume 1 live music event.
Volume 1: CEBU MUSIC

CEBU + MUSIC

Banilad, Cebu City - Crossroads Mall and Rverb Cebu presented RVERB Volume 1, which took place at The Playground eventspace, Crossroads Mall last September 17, 2022, Saturday, 7PM. But maybe: there's no one guilty and no one innocent, but to each his own in the bluntest sense. Like, how can I be sure that there's actually 70 percent of people in poverty when deep down I believe that surveys and media have a manipulative agenda and how can I believe that my neighbors are poor without sounding condescending #ThatSakiStory? What should I believe now (other than the stuff I believe mostly from instinct) if even the idea to rebel against a said corruption is a commodity, a product sponsored by, say, goodie people who will soon screw us over in the worst sense? By this time last year, the Christmas craze had begun with establishments festooned with decorations and lights, malls crowded with shoppers, and the warm happy buzz that we love about the “ber” months.

This Christmas might feel worlds away from last year, but Filipinos still have much to look forward to, with new ways to enjoy the season. One of the best examples is the annual Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), a longstanding and cherished Christmas tradition, which usually runs in cinemas from December 25 until the first weekend of January in the following year.

MMFF features a line-up of locally made films of different genres that is ideal for all members of the family to enjoy. Since cinemas are still closed to the public, MMFF organizer, the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA), is finding new ways to keep the holiday tradition alive, bringing the magic of the film festival to Filipinos here and abroad.

"COVID-19 should not dampen the Filipino Christmas spirit. We are bringing the MMFF tradition in every Filipino home across the globe with this new platform. We are very excited about this because Filipinos abroad and those who cannot go home for the holidays can enjoy the MMFF tradition by watching MMFF movies on Upstream platform," said MMFF Chairman Danilo Lim.

Recently, MMDA has inked a partnership with Globe Telecom as the exclusive presenter for this year’s MMFF. The partnership brings this year’s line-up of festival entries onto Upstream, the newest transactional video-on-demand (VOD) platform, where you can stream your favorite MMFF films from wherever you may be. Tickets will be affordably priced and can be purchased on GMovies, the country’s largest aggregator for online cinema ticketing platform partner of Upstream.

“Globe aims to recreate the Christmas that Filipinos love - amid the crisis - and the partnership that we forged with the MMDA is one way to do this. By making the entries accessible on Upstream in partnership with GMovies, we are bringing the MMFF tradition closer to home and delighting families in and out of the country. This also allows Filipinos to watch the movies using a legitimate platform,” said Globe President and CEO Ernest Cu.

“Together with our partner Sphere, we are happy to deliver the MMFF tradition online via Upstream. Upstream enabled by GMovies will allow local Filipino content producers to bring their content to Filipinos at home and all over the world," Upstream partner Dondon Monteverde added.

Since the MMFF entries will be distributed online, the Upstream platform features technology developed in partnership with global, industry leading media delivery providers. In conjunction with Globe’s #PlayItRight campaign, Upstream is poised to deliver a better viewing experience for customers while protecting the content creators’ digital rights.

As a telco company that bridges content creators and content consumers, Globe supports battling anti-piracy to help protect the entertainment industry. WIth Globe’s #PlayItRight anti-piracy campaign, Filipinos are made aware of their responsibility to consume legal online content in respect and support of the works of filmmakers and entertainment content creators. The need to curb piracy is crucial as the Philippines has one of the highest levels of online piracy with 49% of Filipinos admitting to accessing streaming piracy websites or torrent sites, and 10% using illicit streaming devices (ISDs) to access pirated content, according to a September 2020 YouGov consumer survey, commissioned by the Asia Video Industry Association’s Coalition Against Piracy (AVIA-CAP). Unknownnoreply@blogger.com
