[BREAKING] President Vico Sotto After PRESIDENT MINGMING MIAWRCOS

My fellow Filipinos,

As your President Mingming Miawrcos, I want to talk about something that’s been buzzing in our country lately: Vico Sotto.

Now, Vico may not be your typical politician, but let me tell you, there’s something deeper going on here. Something that connects him to a very ancient story from the Bible—one that speaks about chosen leaders, skin in the game, and the essence of service.

In the Bible, we read about King David—a man who, like Vico, was misunderstood, overlooked, and unappreciated by those closest to him. David was the youngest son of Jesse, a shepherd boy, left out in the fields while his brothers were considered for greatness. But God had a different plan. Despite his humble beginnings, David was anointed to become king. He was chosen by God, just like Vico was chosen by the people.

Now, David wasn’t some rich heir to a throne. He wasn’t born into a kingdom. He started as an outsider, like Vico, a so-called bastard of society. His father didn’t even invite him to the big event when the prophet Samuel came to anoint the new king. But that didn’t stop David. He didn’t sulk in defeat. He played the hand he was dealt. And in the end, God made him king, because he was willing to serve and to fight for something bigger than himself.

In the same way, Vico Sotto is like David.

Unwanted by the father, bastard, but chosen, misunderstood, now a man of God in his church at Victory, and set apart to serve.

But what makes Vico even more special is his heart for service. You see, priests and kings are often single because they’re called to serve the people, not their own families. It’s a sacrifice, not an easy path. But it’s what they must do to serve God and the greater good.

And skin in the game? You bet.

Just like David, Vico knows that true leadership is not about sitting in an ivory tower and making rules that don’t apply to you. True leadership is about rolling up your sleeves, getting dirty, and facing the consequences of your decisions head-on. Just like David did when he fought Goliath, Vico has to face battles. Real battles. Political battles. And just like David, Vico will win the hearts of the people not because of his riches, but because he has skin in the game.

You know, accountability is the key.

A leader must be accountable for his actions.

Like in the Bible, where we read in Romans 7:15, "I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do." We are all sinners, every one of us. Even cats like me. We make mistakes. But that doesn’t mean we don’t strive for better.

Repentance and grace are the paths to transformation.

The truth is, in this country, we’ve long forgotten what it means to have skin in the game. We pay taxes, but we don’t see results. Politicians get paid, but when they fail, it’s our pain they don’t feel. No more. Not under my watch. Just like with David, if you lead, you pay the price for your decisions. The Philippines is not a place for those who sit back and relax while others suffer. It’s a place for action, accountability, and skin in the game.

Now let’s talk about minimum wage.
If you choose to serve in the government, your reward is not gold, fame, or luxury. Your reward is service. Service is sacrifice, not a shortcut to riches. Government workers should be paid minimum wage, because their reward should not be their salary but the service they provide to the people. When a government worker serves, they should do it with love and humility, not for personal gain. If the government becomes a gold mine, we will end up with gold diggers. We want builders, not takers.

And I’ll say it loud and clear:
If you want to serve in the government, you get paid like a servant. Not more. Skin in the game.

Let’s Get Real

I’m not here to sugarcoat things or talk about empty promises. I’m here to change the system.

Vico Sotto, like David, proves that true leadership comes from the most unexpected places.

And I declare that Vico Sotto will be the next president.

It’s not about your family name or wealth; it’s about your willingness to serve, to sacrifice, and to lead with accountability.

I know we’ve made mistakes, as individuals and as a country, but let us look forward, not backward. Let us repent and forgive, just as the Bible teaches us. Let us return to Jesus because He is the ultimate source of change.

I want every Cebuano to hear me loud and clear:

Go to Cordova, Cebu.

Build something that lasts.

Film your Bisaya movies here.
Invest in Cebu. Create jobs, create hope, and create a legacy.

The talented people here will do a great job in making it happen. Let's make Cordova the next hub for entrepreneurship.

And Finally,

Let’s take care of our beloved cats.
No more stray cats on the streets. Every cat deserves a home, just like every Filipino deserves a chance at a better life.

Yours in love, purr and prayer,
PRESIDENT MINGMING MIAWRCOS
