Why Vice Ganda Should Take A Japanese Food Crawl at Bonifacio District Cebu and Make a Bisaya Short Film

PROBLEM:

Vice Ganda is always going to Baguio when s/he is burnt out from doing his noontime show Showtime. Sige nalang jud ug Baguio. Basin mas maayo lahi napud siya, besh?

Kung love niya ang Pilipino as he seems to always say in his shows, maybe the best way for her/him to show his love sa mga taga Cebu is for him to go nasad sa Cebu to make his presence boost the tourist places here.

On Aug. 29, members of the media and the blogging community were treated to a food crawl of three dining establishments. All of them experienced dining in each concept, trying out different ways to enjoy Japanese food.

That said, what can Vice Ganda learn from the bloggers to support the employees of these restaurants?

SUGGESTED ANSWERS:

1. Vice Ganda can go to CoCo ICHIBANYA at Bonifacio District with Kalami Cebu, the Number One Japanese Curry House in the World

One of the most popular dishes in Japan, curry has likewise captured the taste buds of many Filipinos. And if you’re looking for authentic Japanese curry in Cebu, there’s no other place to go to than CoCo ICHIBANYA. It is, after all, the World’s Number One Japanese Curry House.

So what's better than Vice Ganda and his followers to go to CoCo Ichibanya, bring Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez there, and then they go to Moalboal, Cebu Philippines to boost both the job providers and job creators working and engaging their business in these areas?

They not only can taste good Japanese curry food, Vice Ganda can also have skin in the game in showing his/her/its (because he proudly refers herself as a horse) love for the Cebuano public.

At CoCo ICHIBANYA, Vice Ganda can take his pick from various authentic Japanese curry dishes—chicken, pork, beef, and vegetables! Avid diners at its restaurants swear by these curry dishes’ mouthwatering flavors. Plus, he can bring Kalami Cebu and let Carlo Olano guide him to street foods that are better than the Siomai Sa Tisa that Vice Ganda went to.

Its menu choices include the Pork Cutlet and Vegetable Curry; Fried Fish, Stewed Shrimp Curry; Creamed Croquette Curry; Cheese Hamburg Steak, Tomato Curry, which are perfect meals for someone like Vice Ganda who needs a lot of energy!

2. Vice Ganda can eat Mouthwatering Tsukemen & Ramen Choices At Mitsuyado Sei-men

Mitsuyado Sei-men specializes in Tsukemen (thick dipping noodles), which Vice Ganda can enjoy with the dipping sauce and topping of her choice. Popular dishes include Yuzu Tsukemen, Double Cheese Tsukemen, and Karashi Tsukemen.

Everybody knows that Vice Ganda talks with Ryan Bang often in Showtime about Ramen and there's even that joke with Ion Perez where Ion pronounces ramen as Ray-men.

So what's better than Vice Ganda coming here to Bonifacio District and eating the tastefully authentic ramen choices at Mitsuyado Sei-men?

3. Vice Ganda can try the distinct Japanese-Style Coffees and Delicious Dishes at UCC Clockwork

A running joke of Vice Ganda is about how drug addicts should stop using drugs when the kick of good powerful coffee can give the same hit.

"Ba't mag droga pa eh kape kape lang, pede na" goes the joke.

Ug di ba mas maayo if ang kape imnon ni Vice Ganda is from UCC Clockwork kay genuine Japanese kaayo and so mas sipa, mas grabe ang igo, mas lig on pas patid sa kabayo? Horse joke right there. Vice Ganda always says he's a horse.

4. Vice Ganda should make a Bisaya Film or Bisaya Short Films with Medyo Maldito and Malaya Macaraeg shot by Lav Diaz and produced by Quark Henares

The movie should be about how Entrepreneurs are heroes and why The Government should stop issuing business permits to most universities because too much of sterile information from diploma mills harms the risk-taking spirit of the youth.

Remember: Taiwan and Sweden had lower university literacy than us and now look at where they are. We were wealthier when we were less academically educated and trained by trial and error, by bounded mistakes, risk-taking, by scars, not by nerdified facts.

Less books, more real word practice in the field. And Vice Ganda is an example of that. He went into the field of stand-up to train his craft. Practically no books. Heck, he didn't even finish college. An example of how university degree doesnt matter. Or sometimes can even harm you.
