[FANTASY] Open Letter of Elon Musk To Enrique Miranda

Dear Enrique,

I just saw your video about Conching lechon manok HERE.

..And I have to say, it made me think. Not just about crispy, golden perfection, but about something deeper. The Philippines, especially Cebu, like everywhere else, needs more doers—people who build, not just consume. That’s why I’m writing to you.

Faith increases our chances of survival. That’s not just a religious statement; it’s evolutionary. When people trust in something bigger, they persevere. Proverbs 3:5 says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” We need more of that.

Less bureaucracy, more belief.

Speaking of bureaucracy, why do government employees get paid so much? That’s not service—it’s privilege. Real heroes take risks. Entrepreneurs, not politicians, create jobs. Nassim Taleb said it best: "Millennials think that joining an NGO is a great way to save the world. I say no. Start a company. That’s how you improve mankind. We did not pull 2 billion people out of poverty thanks to NGOs and bureaucrats—we pulled them out thanks to capitalism, by generating economic growth."

The Philippines imports too much rice. That’s insane. You have fertile land, smart people, and a history of self-sufficiency. Instead of shipping in food, let’s go back to planting our own. Less dependence, more independence.

Your schools? Too much memorization, not enough creation. Less classroom knowledge, more business. Teach kids how to build, sell, and scale. Otherwise, they graduate knowing trigonometry but not how to register a business.

And Cebu? It’s the perfect place for entrepreneurship. Siomai sa Tisa started small, now everyone knows it. That’s what happens when you create instead of complain. Encourage more people to start something—anything. Jobs don’t fall from the sky; they come from people willing to risk everything.

Speaking of risks, I have a proposition: come to Cordova, Cebu. Invest here. Shoot a Bisaya film. There’s untapped talent, and they need opportunities, not handouts. The talented people from here will do a great job in doing this. Imagine the economic impact.

To quote Coldplay: "Lights will guide you home, and ignite your bones." Let’s guide people home—to real work, real business, and real change.

Yours in love,
Elon Musk
