Problems In Globe Unleashed Event and The Yamaha Club Event Solved By Bisaya Short Films

Problem: You still drive a motorcycle even if you almost died from riding one because you drink and drive.

You drink and drive because you're forgetful, but also because deep down you know life is all about the rush,  the revving of the heart when you conquer the road, hoping that the speed makes you forget that death is near. And alcohol, you think, makes this experience better. Dumb, but better.

You drink and drive because you've also read enough novels from F.Scott Fitzgerald and James Salter and seen enough movies from Woody Allen to understand that this world right here has no guarantees and this is the world where "Whatever Works" is the key to survival. People rape.

People kill. People do things you deem wrong. Why? Because they think you're wrong and they're right. To stop them from doing what they think is right FEELS like an intrusion to their true freedom and this makes you feel no different from a fascist, a dictator, a Hitler. What a bummer.

That is why it's better to be in a club, so when the Apocalypse or its equivalent comes, you can find safety in numbers. You join clubs to feel protected empowered, and groups like The Iglesia ni Cristo flourish and make insane amounts of money for their people because people join clubs. You want to be in a club. A club that shares your love for the ride, for the thrill. What shall you do?

Solutions:

1. Join The Yamaha Club. Yamaha is a brand of motorcycle that goes all out of the way to show loyalty to their buyers. You can join the club by going to the nearest Yamaha store and ask for more details of how to join the next event. Last September 5, 2015 in Cafe Racer Mandaue was the Revtro Event of Yamaha, which was a large reunion of members of the Yamaha Club all over the Philippines, who drank beer and whom we hope would never drive while drunk.

The Revtro Eyeball Event was a great place to discuss among riders how not to die while driving, and how not to kill people with a motorcycle weapon, and how it would be cooler if Yamaha only produced motorcycles that run on 100% Clean Energy. #Daydreams #Disappointment

It was an event filled with gorgeous women, motorcycle riders that remind me of the Riders in Mad Max: Fury Road, and a drone videotaping the event; . The drone is a reminder that soon Robots will conquer us, and how Yamaha can be a part/apart of it. Robots are cool, unless when they're not, and they turn you into their slaves. But that's okay, you're into Fifty Shades of Grey and I bet it's your fetish to get some robot love.

 2. You Join "The Globe Unleashed" Club.

This is the club for the young adults figuring their lives out. Last Saturday they had the grand dance event at the SRP grounds in partnership with Viber and GrabATaxi.

It was an event brimming with potential, but sadly didn't feel like the success it wanted to be because the rain made the dance area a swamp land. Globe had shuttles to bring people to SRP and back because jeeps don't travel there but then the shuttles just stopped working. Only in the Philippines?

I was able to get Viber stickers there, and other FREE merchandise from Globe that apparently was an attempt for the telecom company to forget that Philippines has practically the slowest internet connection in the world.

Dear Globe: If you want Globe really unleashed, then unleash the Internet Speed Cebuanos deserve so we don't have to involve the Philippine senate in fixing this problem because Senate is a problem. That's all. I love your GS15 Promo because that's enough connection for me to enjoy Spotify and to feel like I'm conserving environment's energy.

Hurray for Pretending That My Effort To Save The Earth Matters!
