This Is The Truth About The Angkas Safety Fiesta Event in Cebu City
Bisaya Films and Bisaya Short Films, the public domain brand that no one can legally own, was invited to cover the Angkas Event in Plaza Independencia on September 15, 2019, a public event that offered fun treats, food, party goods and free healthcare and wellness services both to the Angkas drivers and their families.
And this post is a document of what happened in the good old Bisaya Short Films style that everyone in the Universe already likes!

THE RISKTAKERS BEHIND ANGKAS WHO DESERVE MUCH OF CEBU'S RESPECT FOR GENERATING JOBS |
1. Daghang nangadto nga mga Angkas drivers, media, their families, ang mga dagkong executives mismo sa Angkas, and even the CEO herself of Angkas, Ms. Angeline Tham.
2. The discussion with the Media and Angkas went to a lot of places. Some of the questions from Philip Mayol of C3, Carlo Olano of WhyCebu and other personalities sa Media revolved around whether e discriminate ba ang Overweight sa musakay ug Angkas and whether naa bay angay buhaton sa issue ron nga di pa kayo kaabot sa Lapu-lapu ug Cordova ang kadaghanang Angkas drivers.
3. The great most fantastic as in super duper highest respect lang jud aning Angkas ron is how it provides jobs.
And whatever can generate jobs means more purchasing power for Cebuanos, which makes them more likely to buy movies and invest in projects, such as making a Bisaya Film soon perhaps with Vice Ganda and Ate Gay and it would be directed by Lav Diaz, and it will be a dark comedy about how the real evils today are the Freeloader Cronies that don't help generate wealth for Cebu, and yet they take a lot of taxes. It will be about the evils of rent-seeking. Consultant for this film would have to be Nassim Taleb because he, like Angkas, has Skin in The Game.
3. And then after the Angkas Cebu Safety Event, I was reminded of this Seneca Quote:
Money, honor, power, bodily health, and even the love of friends, children, and spouse—all these are held to be things that one may reasonably pursue if nothing impedes (they are called “preferred indifferents”), but they have no true intrinsic worth. They should not even be seen as commensurate with moral worth. So when they do not arrive as one wishes, it is wrong to be distressed. - Seneca
